International Oil Spill Response Centers

ExxonMobil has supported the establishment of a network of worldwide industry-supported oil spill response organizations as well as maintaining its own oil spill response teams and equipment stockpiles.

ExxonMobil funds and supports with others Tier 3 Centers that are on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year around the world. These centers are strategically located around the world near major airports to facilitate the rapid transportation of equipment and experts to spill sites. The equipment is pre-packaged and customs-secured for rapid transport to anywhere in the world on short notice.

Additional information can also be obtained from the International Petroleum Industry Environmental Conservation Association (IPIECA) web site under Oil Spill Response (OSR) publications Tier 3 Centers, or from the US Marine Spill Response Corporation website.
