Modeling the Impacts of Marine Vessel Emissions to Ozone, Particulate Matter and Haze Along the West Coast
The regional air quality impacts of marine vessel emissions off the West Coast of North America were evaluated by performing annual photochemical grid modeling for a 2018 future year scenario. A major focus of this study was evaluating the marine sources as a function of distance from shore to better understand the relative contributions of close-in versus distant vessels.
